Continued Commitment to “making a difference” in Our Communities

Members of The Cyberbahn Group truly believe in making a positive impact and sharing their time, talents and resources with organizations and programs that truly make a difference in our communities.   Giving back to others strengthens our commitments to continue with our work to develop the communities in which we live and work.   We would also like to thank our clients as they often participate in our charity initiatives thereby enabling us to make an even greater impact on our community.

CIBC Run For the Cure

For the past four years The Cyberbahn Group has participated in the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC’s Run for the Cure.  Together, with the help of our clients, we have raised over 40,000.00 for this great cause.  By donating a proceed from each search that is ordered through our website, as well as  fundraising activities within our organization, we have been able to make significant contributions to this noteworthy charity in helping to find a cure for breast cancer.

Osgood Hall Open

The Cyberbahn Group contributes to the knowledge and growth of the legal profession by actively participating as a Gold Sponsor in the Annual Osgoode Hall Open, golf tournament.  The tournament provides an excellent opportunity for both students and lawyers from many firms to get to know each other and interact with members of their profession in a fun and relaxed setting.

Other charitable organizations that The Cyberbahn Group has contributed to include the following:

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

“Diabetes is the most severe form of diabetes as it is unpreventable and strikes anyone at anytime leaving a person insulin dependant for life and facing a future of uncertainty due to the threat of developing devastating complications.” (http://www.jdrf.org/)

For the past three years, The Cyberbahn Group has participated in the JDRF ride for the cure.  Our members join other colleagues from law firms at Nathan Phillips Square where we place our energies into pedaling a stationary bike and raising awareness of this disease which affects our youth.

Daily Bread Food Bank

“Daily Bread Food Bank fights hunger by meeting the immediate food needs of people and working to change the conditions that lead to hunger in the first place. Advocacy, or assisting people with issues other than food, aims to help people now so they won’t need food banks in the future.” (www.dailybread.ca)

Each year The Cyberbahn Group participates in our own office Food Drive where we compete internally as teams to raise food for the Daily Bread Food Bank.  Last year we collected and donated over 1600 lbs of food.

Doctors Without Borders

“Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an independent international medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural or man-made disasters, or exclusion from health care in more than 70 countries.

All of Ontario benefited.” (http://www.senecac.on.ca)

The Cyberbahn Group values and appreciates the challenges students endure during the academic year as they try to build their credentials and acquire new skills that are needed in the marketplace.  By providing a bursary to a well deserving student in the The Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario Educational Program, The Cyberbahn Group is giving back to the community which supports its business and efforts.
